She thinks it's hilarious to wear these around the house...with her pink rubber boots. I'll have to get her a cape now:)

Spring Time!

Vanessa has learned so much in the past few months and is loving the nice weather:) She can crawl and walk around furniture...and she's super fast! She claps, blows spit bubbles, makes funny noises and "ahah" sounds with her mouth and hands, eats everything and loves to play with the dog. Did I mention she talks up a storm to anyone within earshot? She can even say Vaden and car-car:) Lots of fun! Ta-Ta for now:)

Vanessa is 9 months old now and is learning so many new things everyday. Now that I'm back to work, Vanessa spends her days with her nona and grandpa. Nona has been busy teaching her to clap (to a song called Tortita de Manteca...meaning butter tart). It's hilarious. She is getting around by doing a swim-crawl-roll. She can get up on all 4's now (like a little table) and rock, but hasn't figured the going forward part just yet. I'm ok with that (and so is her nona:)
Oh yeah...and she survived her very first SuperBowl party (thanks Eddie for the beer:) LOL

Merry Christmas to All!

Ho! Ho! Ho! Christmas came and went in a flash this year. We saw all our family and had a great time. We had a blast with Vanessa...even though she didn't really "get it" LOL! She was very interested in packaging (paper, tags, bags) and not so much in ripping things open.
